Some frequent questions we get asked:
Will proofreading boost my marks?
Yes, proofreading may help to improve your marks by up to 10%. This is because you can lose marks for poor layout, grammar and punctuation
Is it ethical/allowed/legal to get my essay proofread?
Yes, the majority of UK universities allow proofreading. Please consult your institution’s guidelines for further clarification.
Why shouldn’t I just use AI to check my work?
Using AI is risky. It is best avoided as it frequently triggers high similarity scores and you could fail due to plagiarism. Furthermore, AI doesn’t always make correct suggestions.
